At PLDI 2011 (last summer), Laurie Hendren organized and moderated a panel on, “Teaching Programming Language Design and Implementation … What? To Whom? How?” The other panelists were Alex Aiken, Ras Bodik, Dan Grossman, and Michael Hind. Laurie also ran an electronic survey for attendees and non-attendees alike, which elicited 121 responses.
